Altouris began where most great rides do—in the garage.

For years, I’ve poured my energy into building things from the ground up. Hot rods, classic cars, custom mods—you name it. But it was motorcycle touring that truly captured my attention. Ever since discovering adventure riding back in 2004, I’ve been hooked on the freedom of the road and the raw beauty of remote places.

But as any rider knows, it’s hard to stay comfortable when the weather changes by the hour. Cold mornings, blazing afternoons, windy evenings—nothing seemed to work across it all. Most base layers left me either drenched or freezing, and constantly stopping to adjust gear took the joy out of the ride.

So I built something better.

Altouris isn’t just a brand—it’s a response to a problem most riders have learned to live with. Our mission is simple: create high-performance gear that adapts to the rider, not the other way around.

Our hero product, the Technical Base Layer, is made from a Merino-synthetic blend that regulates body temperature, resists odours, and manages moisture without adding bulk. But we didn’t stop there. From removable sleeves and vented underarms to an integrated hood and neck gaiter, every detail is engineered for function, comfort, and long-haul reliability.

We call it engineered clothing—designed not just to endure the ride, but to enhance it.
